Biography
ArtFun is a DJ/Producer and promoter of Electronic Music, he is identified with the styles of Tech House, Depp House and Fusion; this last one mixing rhythms of the Cuban traditional music with the electronic music.
Armando Padrón Rodríguez is a graduate of the specialty ¨Lic. Informática¨ at the University of Pedagogical Sciences “Héctor Alfredo Pineda Zaldívar”. At the age of 18 he began to take an interest in the world of DJing and music production and was called upon to participate as a DJ in a community project in his municipality called ¨MásArte ¨ where they were performing in different places such as the Casa de Cultura de San Francisco and the Casa de la Trova de San Miguel. In the year 2016 he had the opportunity to receive a DJ-Producer course that is given at ¨Madriguera¨ (Casa del Joven Creador) which concluded satisfactorily. Thanks to this course he belongs to the AHS (Asociación Hermanos Saiz) and this in turn allows him to take advantage of the promotional and commercial possibilities it offers, thus helping him to make his artistic work known.
He has performed as a DJ in the night centre ¨La Gruta¨, in the University Spa ¨EL Coral¨, in the ¨Madriguera¨ on several occasions, in the Festival ¨Surazo¨ in the province of Mayabeque in the last two editions, in the Festival ¨Verano in Jibacoa¨, in the Amphitheatres of Marianao and Alamar, in the opening and closing of summer 2018 and 2019, in the Jardines de la Tropical and in the Salon Rosado de la Tropical together with the Project ¨SARAO¨, giving him the opportunity to present his musical productions. He participated in the Festival ¨Eyeife¨ held at the ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte) attending all the conferences held, providing him with this greater knowledge and allowing him to show his musical productions to different DJ International Producers, where he received the certificates of; Planning in the Production of Electronic Music Festivals and the one of Electronic Music Influenced by the Afro-Cuban Culture.
He received the Award for Special Mention in the competition ¨MusicDos ¨ granted by; Radio Taino and British Council, in the years 2018 and 2019.
At the moment he is creating new musical productions and at the same time collaborating musically with the singer Judith Perez.
